So here it is.... grouted gray! It's alright. A ton of freaken work.. bloody fingers, cause I was dumb and din't wear gloves.... I wish I grouted the backsplash with a white grout!! Dang it, but it's done and I better like it for a long time cause we ain't movin anytime soon!!

wow bre...bloody fingers and all!? you are amazing! i think it's a super cool effect. i'm thinking of maybe cutting templates for the wall - ones that would pop out with a little tug...that way if you get bored, you could pop them out and do something different? but i'm like you - not sure if i have patience for forethought like that. i just want to DO the project and stand back to look at the gorgeous results. (but hey...that could potentially be a business to start - "custom backsplash popouts" for the people who like to switch out their decor frequently?) hmmm?
