Meet Dutch!

Well we have a new edition to the fam.. his name is Dutch he is exactly 1 pound... He is a brussels griffon(same dog in the movie As Good As It Gets) only gets 6 pounds and he is a good lil edition to the fam. The girls love him. This was all Marks idea.. we were going to look at the puppies and of course came home with one. Already potty trained, doesn't bark, no shedding and doesn't require walks in the Florida heat! So, that's that!

Congrats to my baby sister... ok she is 21, but she is my youngest and first college grad of the girls... we were sooo excited to fly out to Utah and see her walk across that stage that cost "oh soo much money, time , effort and memories for Tay". It was a blast to have some family time no kids and just us girls with mom and dad(shea couldnt get off work to come out) we missed her.. but we took a pic and left space for her to be photoshopped in..tee hee.. Cafe Rio and In n Out we ate in the same day which equals my celestial kingdom...stayed in our friends cabin in Park City( it freaken snowed)... spent time with the grandparents and tried to find Davis a husband..lol just kidding!! I am soo happy for Taylor she graduated in Advertising in the creative track as a copy writer, and now is in NYC... Interning for a huge ad firm... soo fun and I will be visiting.. she is amazing and talented beyond talented... Look out Everyone Taylor is about to rock your world...

But man do I love practice!!

Well let's just say I am truly feeling old.. Stella is playing soccer against all that we believe in when it comes to sports...and I joined a Bunco group.. WOW I am OLD.. now back to soccer.. she plays on the yellow YMCA team with her friends Madison and Jackson. They are all totally clueless and would rather play on the playground. Stella was not very happy when she could not get the ball and was really pissed when everyone was running for the SAME ball. Oh yes... screaming crying fits.... which means... we will finish out the season, she loves practice, however I think we will wait a few more years to put Ivey in...p.s. no one keeps score but she knew her team wasnt all that great.. the other team we played was bit too much..(as if they were training the kids to be mini Beckhams..) Whatever, my kid had a bow in her hair and that's all that mattered....xoxo

Saturday we decided to go eat some soup from Olive Garden..Stella loves pasta fagoli..me too! The weather outside still is freaken cold... UGH. So we went to the Inflatable Fun Factory and the girls bounced around in what I like to call Germ Central..not sure whats worse... a water parks lazy river or the jumpy blow up houses... ewww ! The girls had a blast. It was cheap and Ivey enjoyed dancing to the beat of the music rather than jumping. Family day is hard to come by between both of us working and Mark back in school. I love these 3 peeps!

Stella came into my room and told me she was dressed and ready to go.I laughed so hard because she never dresses herself, then to see she was in shorts...but the true laughter came when she turned around!!! Wow would her daddy not be very happy if she left the house looking like this...she laughed with me and then we changed, needless to say it was 50 degrees outside. Enjoy

Our Grandma Joan

In memory of our favorite grandma Joan... you will truly be missed. Gotta love a woman who was a fighter, feisty,loved to shop for clothes in my closet, told you what she thought and best of all...raised a son who is the best dad I could ever ask for. Thanks Joan for the love, support, laughter,tears, and honesty in all things. You were an amazing hard worker, great cook, great grandma and most of all.....you started a generation of people and legacy that will work just as hard as you did in life, and for all this I am truly grateful I can say Joan you are the DAMN best!! Lil Miss Feb.

The suspense is over...here is my Ivey girls first cover of a magazine..BabyTalk...they loved her and she loved it. ( i did not dress her up in this pic, they did) Sooo exciting to have someone famous in the fam...lol I have 100 copies thanks to BabiesRUs... and Ivey and myself are featured in the table of contents page...check it out! Enjoy and I just want everyone to know I dedicate this pic to my grandma Joan who passed away Jan.15 2010. A week before we received this picture, however she knew she was gonna be on the cover! OK besides the week Ivey was born in Feb. this was hands down the best week ever. Mark and I went to Breckenridge Colorado on a ski tripand stayed in an amazing ski in ski out penthouse. We had a blast, the Finleys and Hairs joined us and did I fail to mention NO KIDS...! My mom who rocks btw, watched my girls for us. They love her tons...so it was relaxing. I could take a nap whenever I wanted. This was for my 30th birthday...yes I turned 30 this year and Marks graduation. We had great snow, massages and the best part we needed it for our marriage. Its hard at times to focus on eachother when you got lil ones running around..well deserved trip..well worth it! Gotta make it a family vacation every year!!!!
