SCARY...too close to home for me!

SOOO, today there was a shooting downtown Orlando. Scary ! Yeah, a guy walked into a building and open fired on the engineering firm killing 1 injuring 5. My sister works downtown, so I quickly called to make sure she was ok. She answered the phone and said she was good, however she was in lockdown. I didn't get off work today till 6 and saw a picture of the gunman. Well, guess freaken what??? He was the guy who made my subway sandwich next to my salon. I could not believe it was really him! He seemed normal, guess NOT!! The moral of the story....don't eat at a subway next to my salon!!! and normal looking people are freaks! Glad to know he was caught and its over....this world is something else right now!

grouted!!

So here it is.... grouted gray! It's alright. A ton of freaken work.. bloody fingers, cause I was dumb and din't wear gloves.... I wish I grouted the backsplash with a white grout!! Dang it, but it's done and I better like it for a long time cause we ain't movin anytime soon!!

MY KITCHEN PROJECT

yes these are flat marbles, big and small some kinda like 3D rocks too. I freaken decided to do my backsplash in my kitchen.. so this is only half of it.OMGOODNESS my thumb is killing me and my back..etc. all in one day till 1:00 in the morning. One by one I placed them on the wall. This is what thowing a baby shower next week at my house created. WHat the heck am I thinking ? I'm gonna love it when I grout it. It should be done by friday. Thanks to Michaels for having all the rocks on sale!!!

Necklace GALORE

So my lil Stella was at mima's on thursday and she loves to play in the jewerly. Here she is with like 20 bracelets on and 8 necklaces, plus a hawaiian Lei! She loves dress up, here comes the girly girly I knew I would give birth too.. and p.s. she si singing winkle winkle widdle star here as well. I'm gonna miss this age oneday I tell ya!

Thank You KB Homes

This is what my downstairs formal living room looks like at the moment. Our house we built just under 2 years ago had a window leaking. We contacted KB homes who in return said they would fix the drywall...well thats not the problem..how bout finding where the water is coming from, so I came home from work on Friday to see this giant thing of plastic with a loud buzzing noise with a tube leading to my sink in the bathroom removing all the water and moisture from the walls..ok, so now I have holes in my walls, this could be very interesting, I will keep you posted.....this reminds me of that movie where the guy lives in the bubble?? Anywho.. I love working hard to pay for a house with mold!!

My mom brought this picture to my attention, and in fact I think there is quite the similarities to my lil Ivey. This is my mom Carol, aka "MI MA"...so finally a kid that will look like a Donohoo or a Felt for that matter!!!

Stella's 1st Day of Preschool!!

We woke up earlier than we are used to, Stella was very excited to go to Windermere Union Preschool today! It is tues and thur. 9:15-12:15. She is in a class of 6 girls, and we decorated her bag that she is required to carry. She loved her closed toe shoes(they had lady bugs) and picked out her bow. I quickly dropped her off at her classroom and I said, "Give mommy a kiss", she did and then she said "Bye Bye Mommy", and took off to play. SO no tears either side, Hate to say it but it was a bitter sweet moment, A little bit of freedom and Ivey time is just fine for me, and as for Stella, she loves to learn.

Ok, so heres a pic of Stella wearing what she calls "My Hat"! Yes, I flat iron her hair sometimes, don't worry for you freaks.. it's totally fine to do! She splashes everywhere in the tub at home, so when I want her hair to stay dry, the hat comes out. PROBLEM IS... she wants to wear the hat all the time. slight problem. I tell her it's yucky except for bathtime.

I have a girlfriend who wanted infant photos of Ivey...she needed them for her website..so we had our photo shoot.. OMGosh...Stella loved it. she put these collages together and I have them framed now I need to hang them up. These were done when Ivey was 3 weeks old. Resteraunt Etiquette..whats that??

We were waiting for daddy to meet up with us at Cheesecake Factory for some quick lunch, he was running behind, so I was very entertained from Stella! I had no idea the things Mark taught her while I was working... apparently a spoon on the nose is one of them...however the other is a definite NO NO.. everytime she "toots".. she says.. Ewww mommy tooted, she is stinky! Yeah everytime SHE toots... not funny! Lets stick with the spoons on the nose please.

If you could guess...? What does this look like? I am driving home from work yesterday and I call Mark to see if the storms have calmed down. As I look to the right I see this! No answer, so I call my mom...I take a pic on my iphone, email it to her and ask her if a TORNADO was in the area? She checks and says NO, so it seems to be following me in my car.. ok so its not a tornado, but to my Floridian Eye, it sure looked like one. CREEPY!

Epcot=Kid on Crack

Oh my goodness!! We went to Epcot, (which was the first time we finally took Stella and Ivey) and it was soo much fun. Our friends got us in with his work pass so free is always fun! We went with the Beckstrands and the Arnoldsons, that have girls the same age as Stella. Well about 2 months ago Auntie Shea took Stella to Magic Kingdom without me. I was sad, and now everytime I say Mickey or Disney, she says Castle and Shea Shea! Oh pissed me off, Im the mom dang it! So i was out to change that nonsense! Well it was soo fun. It rained the entire time. The rain gods were on our side. Everyone left the park, so we saw all the characters and no lines anywhere. We waited for 15 minutes and as soon as we approached Mickey, the set ended for the new Mickey to come out. Oh man did Stella scream and pitch a fit.. I was sweating so embarrased, the escort guy tells her, Mickey will be back, "He's cooking a cheescake!" Uh, my 2 1/2 year old doesn't understand, and how gay is that to say? He couldn't think of anything better.Dont forget here people I was a character in highschool, screw the characters send me your autograph books, Ill save u time and money I know all the signatures..anyways, we loved it she loved them. The big ball ride was a lil over Stella's head for understanding how the earth was created and the history, but it took a pic of our heads and told us about our future? It was cute, but if I wanted to know how the earth was created I'd go to a temple session people. We did see Nemo and she talked to Crush the turtle. Ivey was an angel.. we ate in China $$$ freaken expensive for food we ate in 2 minutes. Its so fun to see the reaction on Stella's face..priceless for sure, and her friends Coset and Brynn love hanging out with eachother..enough rambling.. Disney you are great, but even better when you are FREE!!

PRE PREGO BRE

WOW what 5 years can do to you!! This pic was taken at my best friends wedding two months after ours... geez..slightly depressing maybe because I turn the BIG 30 in November. So Mark looks exactly the same except he shaves his head now (p.s. because he wants to, not because he is bald..whatever) he doesnt age, and as for me?? well you do the math Ive had 2 kids, but Im happy!!! Welll in the next life, I think this is the age I will ask God to keep me at...my prime was my first 3 months of our marriage..love u babe!
