Stella's 1st Day of Preschool!!

We woke up earlier than we are used to, Stella was very excited to go to Windermere Union Preschool today! It is tues and thur. 9:15-12:15. She is in a class of 6 girls, and we decorated her bag that she is required to carry. She loved her closed toe shoes(they had lady bugs) and picked out her bow. I quickly dropped her off at her classroom and I said, "Give mommy a kiss", she did and then she said "Bye Bye Mommy", and took off to play. SO no tears either side, Hate to say it but it was a bitter sweet moment, A little bit of freedom and Ivey time is just fine for me, and as for Stella, she loves to learn.

Ok, so heres a pic of Stella wearing what she calls "My Hat"! Yes, I flat iron her hair sometimes, don't worry for you freaks.. it's totally fine to do! She splashes everywhere in the tub at home, so when I want her hair to stay dry, the hat comes out. PROBLEM IS... she wants to wear the hat all the time. slight problem. I tell her it's yucky except for bathtime.

I have a girlfriend who wanted infant photos of Ivey...she needed them for her website..so we had our photo shoot.. OMGosh...Stella loved it. she put these collages together and I have them framed now I need to hang them up. These were done when Ivey was 3 weeks old. We were waiting for daddy to meet up with us at Cheesecake Factory for some quick lunch, he was running behind, so I was very entertained from Stella! I had no idea the things Mark taught her while I was working... apparently a spoon on the nose is one of them...however the other is a definite NO NO.. everytime she "toots".. she says.. Ewww mommy tooted, she is stinky! Yeah everytime SHE toots... not funny! Lets stick with the spoons on the nose please.

If you could guess...? What does this look like? I am driving home from work yesterday and I call Mark to see if the storms have calmed down. As I look to the right I see this! No answer, so I call my mom...I take a pic on my iphone, email it to her and ask her if a TORNADO was in the area? She checks and says NO, so it seems to be following me in my car.. ok so its not a tornado, but to my Floridian Eye, it sure looked like one. CREEPY!

Epcot=Kid on Crack

Oh my goodness!! We went to Epcot, (which was the first time we finally took Stella and Ivey) and it was soo much fun. Our friends got us in with his work pass so free is always fun! We went with the Beckstrands and the Arnoldsons, that have girls the same age as Stella. Well about 2 months ago Auntie Shea took Stella to Magic Kingdom without me. I was sad, and now everytime I say Mickey or Disney, she says Castle and Shea Shea! Oh pissed me off, Im the mom dang it! So i was out to change that nonsense! Well it was soo fun. It rained the entire time. The rain gods were on our side. Everyone left the park, so we saw all the characters and no lines anywhere. We waited for 15 minutes and as soon as we approached Mickey, the set ended for the new Mickey to come out. Oh man did Stella scream and pitch a fit.. I was sweating so embarrased, the escort guy tells her, Mickey will be back, "He's cooking a cheescake!" Uh, my 2 1/2 year old doesn't understand, and how gay is that to say? He couldn't think of anything better.Dont forget here people I was a character in highschool, screw the characters send me your autograph books, Ill save u time and money I know all the signatures..anyways, we loved it she loved them. The big ball ride was a lil over Stella's head for understanding how the earth was created and the history, but it took a pic of our heads and told us about our future? It was cute, but if I wanted to know how the earth was created I'd go to a temple session people. We did see Nemo and she talked to Crush the turtle. Ivey was an angel.. we ate in China $$$ freaken expensive for food we ate in 2 minutes. Its so fun to see the reaction on Stella's face..priceless for sure, and her friends Coset and Brynn love hanging out with eachother..enough rambling.. Disney you are great, but even better when you are FREE!!

PRE PREGO BRE

WOW what 5 years can do to you!! This pic was taken at my best friends wedding two months after ours... geez..slightly depressing maybe because I turn the BIG 30 in November. So Mark looks exactly the same except he shaves his head now (p.s. because he wants to, not because he is bald..whatever) he doesnt age, and as for me?? well you do the math Ive had 2 kids, but Im happy!!! Welll in the next life, I think this is the age I will ask God to keep me at...my prime was my first 3 months of our marriage..love u babe!

This lil one is the best baby, the easiest baby and the loveist (I made up this word). She is always smiling and loves life. She reminds me of what I consider pure, perfect and innocent.. Jen and Bre friends forever...Well for those of you who don't know Jen Isham aka Gabel has been my friend for 20 plus years.. she and I both dropped out of college and went for our vocational degree's. Bre with hair and Jen with culinary. So we both love what we do, and we both auditioned for reality tv, Shear Genius for myself and Jen did the Next Food network TV Star... and she made it. I was and am sooo proud of her. She made the freaken top 10. She filmed in Jan and can't tell a soul a thing about the show. But the premier was june 7th. We had a huge premier party etc. Mom made her this cute apron..We sat intensely watching the first show thinking she is totally the cutest and the best!! Well they thought differently. As she answered questions about the show we were watching she had a smile on her face, and then the judging began, she made a green bean dish, looked good to me.. they tell people they were safe and to my dismay...Jen is in the bottom 2. I freaked out, with tears welling in my eyes I knew she would not be the first to go, and then I heard .."I'm sorry Jen will be leaving us tonight." The shock on my face, the tears down her face, the crowds silent reaction as I looked around I began to cry. Not because she lost. Jen couldn't tell anyone and she had no one but her hubby Gabe. Well I can remember a time in my life when I needed her at my lowest and she was there for me. I wanted so badly to be there for her. Since we didn't know I couldn't help her.. Davis and I cried for about 3 minutes and then smiled and said to each other.. she was a brave girl. She taught me alot that night. Be proud of the accomplishments you have made in your life. I didn't get on shear genius, however I have an amazing husband who loves me and two girls that are my world! I am brave..just like Jen. Food Network I will tell you...U made a mistake, Jen is one heck of a cook!

They did it!! What are the chances of having my two favorite teams make the finals in the 09 playoffs? The magic killed the Cav's which equals a happy husband. Stella had her gear on cheering away..."Let's Go Magic"e,e,eee! Mark was scared for her to wear it and his Dwight jersey due to the magic losing against Boston the last time they were dressed in blue and white. Stella went to bed around 9:30 and I swear if the Magic started losing he would of brought her back down the stairs, in her outfit until they won..lol Its all fun....Ivey will have to wear a Laker Onesie..I like both teams may the best win!!!

Dont look if you are sensitive to blood... My lovely husband came walking in last Thursday from training for his triatholon.. and well.. his chain fell off his bike while down shifting and he fell and scrapped up his whole body.. this is the back of his leg... he thought he was just fine, well he ended up with 9 stitches and a nasty looking scar. I guess it could of been worse. He likes to tell people he got bit by a shark...(he thinks that sounds cool) I like to tell people he got bit by a dog! lol

Okay, so they say alot can be said by a photo... well it doesn't take a genius to see who isn't the happy camper in the group. It was Ivey's blessing day and miss Stella had no intentions on staying still, yet alone taking a pic. So thanks to Stella this was one of our first family pics together, and not to mention my lovely reGROWTH... can we say Nasty!! Mark looks cute..oh happy days

La Lakers is the Donohoo's pick, however Orlando Magic is the Kirkland's pick...well since I was a Donohoo first I am cheering for the Lakers, but since Mark and I have season tickets for the Magic next year.. I kinda wanna cheer for them, however I do feel a little torn, but when all said and done... if the championship game is Lakers vs. Magic..... Stella can wear her Magic cheerleading outfit and I'll make a Laker onesie for Ivey.... so that way we get the best of both worlds..
GO LAKERS I think Dwight Howard and JJ Reddick are hot, so then again I like the Magic... dunno

Ok, so I am sure you can tell in this picture that mom wasn’t home..yeap that’s right Dad was watching the girls while mom was working so ignore the mess in the background, just embrace the cuteness of these two,it’s not often you can get Stella to lay next to her sister..

Stella Blu and Ivey Pearl you are the greatest gifts a crazy mom could have!

So baby Ivey Pearl Kirkland is here. Actually she has been here for 3 1/2 months. She weighed a big 7 lbs, 12 oz. 19 inches long. Sweet as can be, came out looking like a Stella and turned into a Bre baby aka a DONOHOO baby. Delivery was great, minus the nurse was new to the opertating room and forgot to count the instruments, therefore we had xrays done to make sure a needle wasnt left inside. Had the epideral put in twice, the first time it went to my blood stream and I got very sick. Yeah, the sucked and then they knocked me up with some serious drugs and the stories started..like asking my doctor if Red headed people's carpet matched the drapes?? wow i was wasted and asked to become a catholic, (which concerned my husband) dont worry honey.. I still love the church. We waited for a room in Winnie Palmer from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. poor Mark he had nothing to sleep on, we were both exhausted. But life moves on 5 days later came home to reality and its been a breeze! Mark and I love our girls, Stella is my cookachew.. and Ivey is just plain old sweet, she sleeps thru the night and only cries when she is hurt or hungry. We love them both so much and they know they are loved by everyone, especially the grandmas and Aunties.. and Uncle Q. Life with 2 aint no thang but a chicken wang.. change one diaper,change another, feed one kid, feed another.

p.s. Stella finally acknowledges Ivey .. she says, oh mommy baby Ivey sleepin?? yeap she is...

Soo here I am at 6 1/2 months prego.. I feel alright, However I am only one pound heavier than I was with Stella at this point.. I sure feel bigger this time. I did go and take the glucose screening test for Gestational Diabetes, whick requires to basically drink 8 ounces of pure nasty well Poop. Wait an hour and then draw blood to make sure all sugar levels are good, as I am drinking ,this african american guy wants to know why he didnt get a drink while he is waiting to get his blood drawn?? Well I told him you don't want this crap for real and your not prego!! So the end of my story is... I failed the freaken test so now I go in drink a bigger bottle of poop and every hour for 4 hours get my blood drawn... God bless those around me as I take this test, I'm not gonna be happy! Oh yeah by the way I have less than a 10% chance of even having diabetes.. whatever doing the duty of being a mom....gotta love being prego!! I guess mom and dad's McCain Palin sign in front of the house didn't work, brace yourself for one hell of a 4 years... holy crap!
